Blockchain based task collaboration trust management scheme for Internet of Things

Abstract

In the smart devices task collaboration scenario of the Internet of Things, aiming at the problem that interactions between devices are untrusted and malicious devices disrupt collaborations, this paper proposed a trust management scheme based on blockchain. The semi-distributed architecture overcame the deficiencies of the centralized and distributed architectures, and the collaboration process considered the trust of both sides of the task. The scheme designed a review mechanism to ensure the authenticity and reliability of the task ratings. The trust measurement adopted Dirichlet distribution to simulate the diversity of task ratings, constructed the trust into several states, and evaluated trust states and global trust using the Markov chain. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can objectively measure the device's trust, and has advantages in detecting malicious devices, improving the success rate of collaborations, and avoiding misjudgment. Therefore, it can effectively ensure the credibility of task interactions and the security of the collaboration environment.
