Verifiable fine-grained keyword search over attribute-based encrypted data

Abstract

In order to guarantee the third-party service searches the targeted ciphertexts honestly and reduce the computation overhead for the end users, this paper proposed an attribute-based searchable encryption scheme with verifiable fine-grained keyword search. It constructed the scheme based on a symmetric-key encryption scheme, a commitment scheme, and a strong one-time message authentication code. It proved this scheme to have selective security against chosen plaintext attacks and chosen keyword attacks, respectively, and have the verification soundness. Compared with the existing similar schemes, this scheme improves the computation and communication efficiency for end users.
