Novel wireless sensor network interference attack detection technology

Abstract

In order to solve the problem of packet loss, high overhead and network throughput in the existing interference attack detection technology, this paper proposed a wireless sensor network interference attack detection technology based on cluster and timestamp. This technology grouped the sensor nodes based on the clustering algorithm, identified the malicious nodes by timestamp, and detected the interference by judging whether matched the signature or not. If it identified any node as a malicious node, scheduled the new cluster to bypass the blocked area and continue to communicate through alternate routes. Experiments show that compared with the prior art, the timestamp-based interference detection technology is superior to the existing method performance in PDR, network throughput, energy consumption and routing overhead.
