Multi-layer combination multi-order explicit interaction fusion recommendation model

Abstract

While many current existing models focus on mining limited data in order to improve the click-rate prediction effect, the following problems arise simultaneously: the features are directly input into a unified neural network structure for mining and subsequently output regarding both the original and newly generated explicit ones, their representation will be great different. Additionally, if the multi-level neural network structure is adopted directly, it will also result in the loss of information at low layers such as the first layer and the second layer. The information with limited usefulness in some layers may produce noise to affect prediction if they are accumulated and combined directly. This paper designed a multi-level explicit interactive fusion recommendation model with a multi-level weight combination. It mined the original data and the generated multi-level explicit features into their corresponding self-attention layers, which had different layers of their corresponding structures. Meanwhile, it output after weighted each layer to complete the combination of layers, so as to improve the prediction effect of click rate. It shows that this model is able to mine explicit and implicit interactive features effectively and balance the ability of each order to represent features in an effective way, with the support of the comparison and analysis with several different models on two public data sets, as well as the ablation comparison experiment and super parameter comparison of the model.
