Multi-party joint prediction for QoS of industrial Internet manufacturing services considering data security

Abstract

Industrial Internet platform supports ubiquitous connection of various manufacturing resources and can provide manufacturing services for different users throughout the total life cycle. Manufacturing service QoS plays an important role in service matching, selection and sharing. However, how to make full use of the manufacturing service characteristic data of different enterprises in the industrial Internet platform while protecting data security is crucial to improve QoS prediction accuracy. To this end, this paper proposed a multi-party joint QoS prediction method. Firstly, this approach established a user-manufacturing service QoS relationship matrix based on the long-term accumulated local data of various manufacturing service providers. Subsequently, this method shared the potential feature vector of manufacturing services between enterprises while protecting user preference information security to achieve QoS joint training, and applied homomorphic encryption and differential privacy encryption mechanisms to ensure the security of transmitted data. Finally, this method used the stochastic gradient descent method to iteratively update model parameters to predict missing manufacturing service QoS values. The experiments validate the effectiveness of the proposed method with the WS-dream dataset and the case company manufacturing service sharing platform data. And the results show that the method can effectively improve the accuracy of model prediction while protecting data security.
