Multi-depot half open vehicle routing problem with split deliveries and pickups

Abstract

To solve the problem of multi-depot half-open vehicle routing problem with split deliveries and pickups, this paper constructed a multi-depot half-open vehicle routing problem with split deliveries and pickups mathematical model with the shortest vehicle delivery distance as the goal. The solving process mainly used genetic algorithm based on big mutation and variable neighborhood search, which adopted two-dimensional chromosome coding and sequential crossover strategy, the big mutation strategy and neighborhood search strategy improved the global and local optimization capabilities of algorithm. The numerical examples verify the effectiveness of the model and the algorithm. Numerical examples show that the algorithm has benefits in solution quality, efficiency for solving the multi-center logistics distribution vehicle routing problem, and the result is relatively stable. Meanwhile, the multi-depot half-open vehicle routing problem with split deliveries and pickups is superior to the vehicle routing problem with split deliveries and pickups. The research results not only expand the vehicle routing problem, but also provide decision-making references for the distribution optimization of related logistics enterprises.
