Research on joint optimization for location-inventory-routing with supplier selection

Abstract

Aiming at the integrated optimization of supply chain in assembly manufacturing enterprises, this paper proposed a multi-stage location inventory model to integrate supplier selection and transportation mode among different levels under stochastic demand. The model selected the suppliers, the location of the assembly plants and the distribution centers, determined the distribution service relationship and transportation mode among facilities, so as to minimize the cost of the whole supply chain network. This paper designed an improved adaptive genetic algorithm based on matrix coding to solve the proposed mixed integer nonlinear programming model. The simulation results show that the algorithm is superior to the standard genetic algorithm in the optimization ability of the solution and draw a conclusion that there is some regularity between the total cost of supply chain and the maximum lead time of plants.
